Please No Passing Through
Description
Please No Passing Through is a solo exhibition of sculpture by Natalie Kuenzi. Made from extracted and altered materials—clay and plastic—the work can be viewed through multiple lenses, embodying seemingly incongruous states simultaneously. The forms are both real and unreal. Using motifs of a bramble, tumbleweed, and built infrastructure, the work reflects on themes of growth, movement, and acceptance. The formal constraints—both familiar and strange—ultimately arrive at a balance that is at once specific and boundless.
